ILÚMIES is a spectacular artistic installation designed for indoor spaces that combines laser technology and ambient music. In it, light interacts with different elements such as mirrors, smoke, and the exhibition space itself, creating the illusion of a light labyrinth in which the viewer can immerse themselves.

ILÚMIES seeks to establish a dialogue between light and space with the aim of generating a magical atmosphere in which visitors can reflect on the boundaries of audiovisual perception. The work is conceived so that the exhibition space becomes part of the installation itself, as the magnificent show of laser light adapts to the surroundings, creating a unique site-specific artistic experience.

The term ILÚMIES is an acronym that represents the idea on which the creative concept is built: the generation of an illuminated space that gives the viewer the feeling of being in an atmosphere akin to a mirage.

On a technical level, the installation is made up of laser light projectors and numerous mirrors distributed throughout the exhibition space that generate a choreography of light which reacts to an ambient soundtrack created especially for the piece. The final number of projectors and mirrors will depend on the chosen location.
